On July 27, 2018 in a ceremony chaired by Lew Ewing and held at the Korean War Memorial in Washington, D. C., the fifteen (15) recipients of the 2018 American Veterans of Korea Foundation scholarships were recognized. Each scholarship is in the amount of $2,000. With the fifteen presented this year, the AVKF has, over the past five years, sponsored a total of 50 scholarships totaling $100,000. We want to express or sincere thanks and gratitude to Chairman Kim, Jung Hoon and the Board of Directors of the AVKF for this generous gift to support our young people as they pursue their college degrees.
This year, three of the recipients, LILY HOFMAN, JULIET PIOLI and ANNA-KATE RAGAN attended at the ceremony and received a Scholarship Award Certificate
Presented by Dr. Paul Cunningham, the President of the Korean War Veterans Association.
