January Chapter Meeting
At the regular Chapter meeting on Tuesday Jan10th, our guest speaker was Virginia state trooper Daniel Scott who gave a very interesting talk on driver awareness and safety.
Trooper Scott addressing the membership.
The talk began with trooper Scott asking a series of trivia questions about old cars and the early onset of traffic laws. He stressed the importance of checking medications for possible driving impairment. Also, to stay alert for traffic and pedestrian situations that could compromise driving safety.
From The Chapter Secretary
2016 ended on a sad note with the passing of James Berry on Christmas Eve. However, we must continue to carry on, and 2017 promises to bring some good days to the Chapter. If anyone has any interesting stories or pictures of family Holiday events that
you would like to share in the “Chatter”, feel free to forward them to me to be included in upcoming issues.
Don’t forget the Chapter “Buffett” Dinner to be held on Thursday February 16th at 12:00 noon. This will be held at the Lee-Jackson restaurant in Winchester. If you have signed up but not paid, please get the money to “Peachie” or Herb. We hope to see you there.
