August Meeting Highlights
Commander Lew Ewing introduced guests of Hal Miller, Jim & Kim Markle, Diane Lutrell wife of Isaac Lutrell, and William “Andy” Anderson and his wife Patty.
Our member Brett Osborn gave the introduction of our guest speaker William “Andy” Anderson, who gave a description of his duties at the Regional Jail.
William Thomas "Andy" Anderson is programs director at the Northwestern Regional Adult Detention Center in Frederick County. He gets a show of hands as he runs the Offender Re-Entry Transition Program, a 120-day program for inmates that focuses on alcohol and drug treatment, anger management, character and life skills development and financial management.
Anderson, 90, is a Korean War veteran and lives in Stephens City.
