Commander David Clark, his wife Beverly, Doug Hall, his wife Robin, and Lt. Col Park.

We then traveled to the Sheraton Hotel Pentagon City for the ceremony where plaques were presented to the Korean War Veterans who attended the Veterans Day activities. Jim Fisher and his Assistant presented plaques to the following KWVA Chapter 313 Members: Commander David Clark, Steve Culbert, Lew Ewing, Donald Everhart, Al Ullman, Don Netschke, and a few other Korean War Veterans from other KWVA Chapters.  We also bought back another 28 Korean War Plaques that were later distributed to our chapter Korean War Veterans who didn’t make the trip.  We coordinated this distribution with members of the Area Social Groups (Rod Yonkers; Alan Greene; Charles Savary, Jr.; Josh Morimoto;

Ron Wenger; and Andrew Hunter). Marshall DeHaven also volunteered to distribute some of the plaques.

Our last stop of the day was at the Mission BBQ in Gainesville, VA. They welcomed us with reserved tables and thanked all for our service to the country.  Although they only publicize providing “Free” Sandwich Meals to all Veterans, they gave our members and guests a completed meal to include Sandwiches, Drinks, and Desserts. Attached is a photo of all members, and their guests. Missing from this photo was Robin Hall since she was taking group photos.

The ROK Embassy Chartered Bus finally returned us to the Walmart in Winchester after a long but satisfying day of commemoration, remembrance and comraderies.
