To make a point, I briefly recall some of the Chapter activities thus far this year.

Starting with the Arts Chorale of Winchester wreath laying ceremony and concert in April

Followed with a fundraiser that month.

The Apple Blossom Parade.

Memorial Day events and parades in Washington and Stephens City.

Another fundraiser in June

Beginning of the war commemorative ceremonies at the war memorial in Washington and the lunch at the Korean Embassy hosted by the Ambassador.

The 4th of July events including the parade in Middletown.

The annually picnic and the dedication of the additional flag poles at the memorial in Jim Barnett park on July 22.

On July 24 the Hannah Kim visit and wreath laying ceremony also at the memorial in Jim Barnett Park.

The July 27th signing of the armistice commemorative ceremony at the memorial on the Mall in Washington, DC.

Then of course there are the regular monthly meetings where we have enjoyed interesting and informative programs.

These are some of the activities in the life of a very busy and active chapter this year.

If you are not making an effort to be involved you are missing out on something great. The camaraderie enjoyed by those attending meeting and events and working together is something to behold.
