COMMANDER'S COMMENTS
Fall has arrived and the leaves are starting to change. This is something like what is happening to our Chapter.
Under the leadership of Ray Ewing and Josh Morimoto, the recruiting effort is paying great dividends. Our membership is receiving new and valuable members. Let us keep maximizing the effort to ensure the continuity of our Chapter.
It has not been determined as to what events will take place on Wednesday Nov 11th, Veterans Day. Jim Fisher has advised that there will be a ceremony at Arlington Cemetery, with details to be worked out on Transportation if the Chapter desires to attend. Locally, a ceremony will be held at Shenandoah Memorial Park (Omps South) facility. Details will be forthcoming.
Following our Christmas Luncheon on Dec 8th, there will be a brief business meeting to elect and install new Chapter officers for the upcoming year 2021.
It behooves each of us.to stay in touch with other members, especially those who are having medical issues, or who cannot attend our chapter meetings. The one thing that stands out about our Chapter is the closeness of our members which is a very good thing. Keep it up.!!
David E. Clark, Commander.
