October Chapter Meeting Program
Special Award
During a break in our monthly meeting on October 11, 2016, the Commander had the honor of presenting the Korean “Ambassador for Peace” Medal to our own Chapter member Tiney Jackson. This award, created by the Korean government is made to members of the United Nations Veterans who served in Korea during the live conflict.

Reverend Jack Keep
On behalf of the Chapter, it is with sincere regrets that we announce the passing of “Jack’s” grandson Andrew, a victim of lymphoma which he has been battling for over a year. Our hearts and prayers go out to the whole family in this time of sadness

Ed Reel returned home on October 19th after several days in the Winchester Medical Center with pre-pneumonia symptoms.
James Berry has had some serious "ups" and "downs" lately as he was hospitalized fighting pneumonia. He is back home with his daughter now. As always, he

Paul Campbell is recuperating following a fall and a broken right elbow. Paul attended the October meeting, and said that he is mending slowly.
Leonard Laconia, has been under the weather as the result of cancer medication side effects.
Bud Robertson is still pretty much confined to his home on oxygen full time, but hopes to make our November meeting. All of these mentioned would appreciate a call or visit.
