Paul E. Berry
Paul Elwood Berry, 83, of Winchester, VA, died Saturday, March 1, 2014 at a local nursing home.
Mr. Berry was born January 29, 1931in Moorefield, WV, the son of the late Rueben Albert and Eura Velma Weese Berry.
He was married to the late Barbara Allyn Anderson Berry.
Before he retired Mr. Berry was the co-owner of Miller Drugstore and Boyd Drugstore in Winchester, VA. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Paul was a member of Montague Avenue U.M.C., Korean War Veterans and the Moose Lodge.
Paul is survived by one sister, Helen Thorne, of Petersburg, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Elsye Willey, June Sherman, Jane Kerns and Velma Blanke.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, March 6, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m at Jones Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Paul Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
