COMMANDER'S COMMENTS

     ATTENTION!!!    VOTE!    VOTE!    VOTE!

Although our Past Commander, Narce Caliva is no longer a candidate for the position of National KWVA Director as he was appointed to the Board to complete the term of another Director who had to resign due to his ill health, this year's election is an important election that will affect the continued success of our KWVA. Please do vote.

SPRING FUNDRAISER

Our new Fund Raising Committee Chairman, Dick Boxwell, wants to remind everyone that our Spring Fund Raiser will be held on Friday, April 15th and Saturday, April 16th at the Pleasant Valley Walmart. The day begins at 8:00am and goes to 6:00pm and is divided into five two-hour shifts X four workers per shift = 20 workers for the day - that's all!

We wish to remind everyone that these fund raisers are the major source of income to fund our Chapter activities throughout the year. They are critical if our Chapter is to continue to remain active and be one of, if not the, best Chapters in the entire Korean War Veterans Association.

FOR THE FUND RAISER TO BE SUCCESSFUL WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO AGREE TO WORK A SHIFT AND TO BE SURE TO SHOW UP AT YOUR APPOINTED TIME.
