John Grafton Moreland May 18, 1930 - July 7, 2018

John Grafton Moreland, a.k.a. Jack, Jackie, Red, Grouch, 88, of Woodstock, Virginia, died Saturday, July 7, 2018 in the Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center, Winchester, Virginia.

He was a heavy equipment mechanic for Wilbar & Arnold Company.

He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a member of the Korean War Veterans Association, Shenandoah Chapter 313.

Surviving are a son, Jeffrey Alan Moreland and his wife, Sharon Payne Moreland; grandchildren, Brandon Jeffrey Moreland, Andrew David Moreland, Kayla Moreland Cox, Robin Moreland Gundry and her husband, Sean Gundry, Danielle Rene Moreland, Ashley Elizabeth Moreland, Michael Charles Harryman and his wife, Rebecca Leigh Harryman, Amanda Harryman Hernan and Samantha Rose Harryman; great-grandchildren, Elijah Joseph Cox, Olivia Rae Cox, Leighton Grace Gundry, Jordan Lee Gundry, Lillian Rose Harryman, Juleana Grace Harryman, Joseph Andrew Rodas, Ryan Johnathan Hernan, Liam Roderick-Grafton Hernan and Xavion Syncere Caison; and a sister, Margaret Yvonne Moreland Barr.

His wife, Dana Jean Cavaness Moreland, daughter, Delana Moreland Harryman and son, Terry Wayne Moreland, all preceded him in death.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville, VA, with Chaplain Raleigh Watson officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jeffrey Alan Moreland, Brandon Moreland, Andrew Moreland, Michael Harryman, Eric Moreland and Harry Dodge, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P. M. Tuesday evening at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home, Berryville, VA.
