Nov 11th Veterans Day Event in DC.

The Korean War Veterans Association has been invited to co-host the annual Veterans Day ceremonies at Arlington Cemetery on Nov. 11, 2017.

With this honor comes the responsibility of providing activities in support of this event.

Hundreds of Korean War and Korea Defense Veterans, from across the country, will be in attendance. For many, it will be their first visit to Arlington National Cemetery or even to visit their Korean War Memorial.

A bus will be provided by the Embassy and will leave the Walmart parking lot on Rt 522 south and Tasker Road at 6:30 am. Event will include Vice-President Michael Pence speaking at the Arlington Cemetery amphitheater at 9:00 am, followed by a luncheon for veterans at the Women In Military Service For America Memorial museum. Then at 4:00 pm  there will be a wreath laying ceremony at the Korea War Memorial after which the bus will return the members to Winchester. The latest word was that Josh Morimoto still had five spaces on the bus. Contact Josh for more information.
