Also, Josh, Morimoto has arranged for James Fisher, KWVA’s Executive Director, to speak. Obviously, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet and socialize with new friends and fellow vets and to be informed on KWVA National events. Don’t miss it.
Then at the May 9 monthly meeting Josh has arranged for Col William Weber, head of the Korean War Veterans Foundation to speak on the Wall of Remembrance project. Again, this will be an opportunity learn about this magnificent project and the fundraising efforts underway to secure funds for the project. Another one that you should not miss.
Also, missing the March meeting means that Dick Boxwell will have a shorter recruiting period for this year’s first fundraising event. So please be prepared to sign up for the April 21st and 22nd event. No one can miss this one!
Finally, the four parades scheduled for this year. Starting with the Apple Blossom’s Firemen’s Parade. These events are not only to promote our Chapter but also (in my view) is another “Tell America” effort before the greater public.
