                 Greenwood Baptist Church 05-19-2017

On a beautiful Friday noon, ten members of Chapter #313 met with other numerous Veterans to enjoy the Annual Veterans' Appreciation patriotic fellowship and luncheon, courtesy of Pastor Carl Menefee and his great congregation @ the Greenwood Baptist Church in Winchester, VA.

Present were Herb Taylor, Ed Reel & Cathy, Narce Caliva, Charles Hoak, Charles Ewing, Paul Campbell, Josh Morimoto, Jerry Lunt, Paul Bombardier & Shirley, Neil Bombardier, and Paul’s daughter Lori Shillingburg.

Pastor Carl began the event offering the opening prayer, and then the group pledged to the American Flag, the Christian Flag and to the Bible.     

Veterans’ Appreciation Luncheon.

  These were led by Hunter See, Don Figard and Dennis See, followed by the singing of the National Anthem.

After lunch, Pastor Carl Menefee introduced VA. Delegate Dave LaRock who made welcoming remarks to the gathering, and was followed by Veteran introductions.

Pastor Carl recited a poem, “The American Flag”, followed by his wife, Donna Menefee who sang “God is God”. Main speaker Dr. Floyd Brewer brought the message, and this was followed by songs of the Service Branches. Pastor Carl made closing comments and Evangelist Dale Vance offered the closing prayer.
