Shenandoah County Fair Event

Thursday August 31st – All Veteran’s day Displays at the Fair. KWVA Chapter 313 participated by setting up our canopy and literature display.

On this day, all Veterans were honored and admitted free to the Fair. Jack Keep and his band of volunteers made the set-up at 8:30 am in plenty of time to join in the festivities starting at 10:30 am.

 Chapter 313’s Lew Ewing, Jack Keep and David Clark “Trooping the Colors” with the assistance of Josh Morimoto, Dale Thompson, Herb Taylor and Steve Culbert before the start of the program of speakers. Paul Bombardier and Peachie DeHaven rounded out the set-up crew for a total of nine members representing the Chapter.
