Please check page 2 for activities and dues due this month. You don’t want to be removed from Nationals’ mailing list.  On Thursday April 26th, and Thursday May 10th which was his  

Birthday,  Shirley and I had the opportunity to again visit John Moreland at Consulate Health Care in Woodstock. We had really nice visits, reminiscing of times past. If anyone is in that area, please consider going in for a visit to room 344. John does not get many visitors.

 

Remember that June 14th is national Flag Day. Exercise your right to patriotism and display your Flag.

(Ed Note) Member Romie Nickles, who passed away Thursday, May 10, joined Chapter 313 in August, 2016. Romie attended four meetings before being stricken and was unable to attend further meetings. Chapter 313 was represented by your secretary at his funeral service. Story, page 7.

May Meeting Highlights.

Greg Edens from the Vet Center in Martinsburg was the guest speaker who updated the members present on the services offered by their unit.

TRAVELLING KOREA WAR MEMORIAL.          Member Rob Shirley attended this Event in WV.
