NOTES FROM THE CHAPLAIN

Dick Boxwell is at home and undergoing a series of radiation treatments which will continue for several weeks. A call to him would be thoughtful – and perhaps a visit.
His schedule is a little tricky, so definitely work it out with him by phone.
J. Jones’ daughter, Jill, posted the following upbeat report recently:
“Hello Everyone!
The report is still good. I'm hoping the good news continues to go unchanged.
Dad is doing just fine. Today was treatment day. Dad's weight is holding steady. He dropped a couple of pounds but exactly where Dad is comfortable. Mom is still working her magic; the new theory is "fat cancer". Mom refuses to let Dad get skinny, so she claimed he will have "fat cancer".
Whatever works, right!? 😄
In the last week Dad's energy has been good. Mom and Dad have been able to run around town and enjoy some fresh air.
Thank you all for the prayers. Dad loves reading your posts and encouraging words.
