Greenwood Baptist Church Honors Veterans.
. On Friday, May 18th, Greenwood Baptist Church members and pastor Carl Menefee hosted the Church’s annual Veteran appreciation program and luncheon. Nine members of Chapter 313 attended this function along with several spouses and many other military veterans.
Attending were Jim Markley, Jerry Lunt, Paul Bombardier, Narce Caliva, Herb Taylor, David Clark, Lew Ewing, “Dickie” Ewing, and Ray Ewing.
The closing prayer and the group singing “God Bless America”.
Stephen City “Newtown Days” Event
On Saturday May 26th, the Veterans recognition program was held at the Veterans Memorial at the Stephen City old school. Several members of Chapter 313 participated at this event.
