From the Chapter Secretary

Please check page 2 for activities and dues due this month. You don’t want to be removed from Nationals’ mailing list. Several items of importance are coming up in July.

     First on the list is the Parade in Middletown, VA on July 4th. This starts at 5:00 pm. Gather at Lord Fairfax Univ. parking lot between 4:00 & 4:30 pm.

     On July 22nd, the Chapter picnic at Jim Barnett Park Memorial at 1:00 pm starting with dedication of the new Flags & Flagpoles.

     On July 24th, Hannah Kim will be visiting our Memorial at 10:30 am. for a wreath laying ceremony.

     On July 27th, last but not least is the Celebration of the Korea War Truce at the National Korea War Memorial in DC, with wreath laying ceremonies. 

 

                       

 

For those of you that are planning to attend the Chapter picnic on July 22nd our newly installed Flags and Flagpoles will be dedicated with a short ceremony before eating lunch.

Retired Navy Commander Kenny Fields tells the story of “Streetcar 304”.

2nd Vice-Commander Donald Everhart sworn into office by National Director Narce Caliva.
