NOTES FROM THE CHAPLAIN
Rev. Raleigh Watson
The latest update from J. Jones' daughter included this comment:
"Dad had to venture out for treatment this morning. He is doing ok
The winter definitely brings a bit more discomfort but Dad is trying to stay on top of managing his pain. The doctor was a bit concern with an increased heart rate, so additional bloodwork and an EKG was on the menu for today.
Hopefully, everything will check out just fine. More to come. The PET scan is later this month; it will give insight on the progress of the treatments." I talked with J after that posting and found him in good spirits.
Paul Bombardier had a short hospital stay - but is back home and recovering. Dale Thompson was in hospital following a fall and is now at Envoy Rehab for therapy. Visits would be appreciated!
We were pleased to have Edgar Tufts with us at the Millbrook High School veterans' breakfast and program. This was his first outing after his surgery last summer.
I wish you all a very Merry and Blessed Christmas!
Here, again, are some of those who might appreciate a call from a comrade. Please do so.
