NOTES FROM THE CHAPLAIN

We have lost another comrade – “Bud” Robertson had been moved to hospice care for breathing prob-lems, he had been on full-time oxygen for some time,
which prevented attending meetings. He was there only a day or two, went downhill very fast and died on 14 February. At the time of this writing no details for funeral arrangements have been released. We shall miss “Bud” very much!
We were pleasantly surprised to have Bill Jackson with us at the February meeting, as he is recovering from a broken hip suffered early in January. Keep it up, Bill. – can’t keep a good man down!
Charles “Bud” Boyce has moved again – this time to Martinsburg VA Center in the Residential Section. He would appreciate visits – go to main building and the front desk person can guide you. He is on the 5th floor. He is very happy to be there – says he has been trying to get there for two years and hopes he will not move again! His cell number is 304 -433-4540
Dale Thompson is with his son and daughter-in-law. To check on him, it’s best to call his daughter-in-law, Christina, at 540-837-2144. They have arranged a PO box for Dale, and I urge that we send cards from time-to-time – PO Box 135, White Post, VA 22663.
