Winchester War Memorials Honored.
On Saturday July 20th, a group of Legion Riders from American Legion Post 25 located in Newport News, VA. assembled at Jim Barnett Park to pay homage to the Korea War Veterans and POW-MIA Memorials.
The event was held at 8:00 am simultaneously at both Memorials with a presentation of wreaths and a bugler playing taps to honor the memory of all Veterans present and passed.
Representing Chapter 313 was your secretary assisting the commander of American Legion Post 25.
Following this ceremony, the riders mounted their trusty steeds in 95 degree temperature to head for Harrisonburg, VA. to repeat the program there, and then to Orange, VA. and finally to Spotsylvania, VA. to finish the day.
