NOTES FROM THE CHAPLAIN

Those of us in the KWVA are most fortunate. We have survived our military experiences – some in combat, some as prisoners of war, and some with combat injuries.
Others, such as I, are especially thankful that we were never ordered into combat. All our members are very blessed that we are able to be here today and to be members of the KWVA. Let us always remember those comrades who were not so fortunate and keep them in our prayers. Please pray for the souls of those who did not survive, for those still listed as MIA, for and for those serving around the world today.
Since our July meeting, Wayne Strother has been in and out of the hospital. We were especially glad to see him and Don Jones at the August meeting! Don had been unable to attend recent meetings.
Here are some suggestions for some of our comrades who do not get out very often and would appreciate a phone call (or visit!)
