We’re nearing the end of 2019, and looking back on what has transpired so far is amazing.  Our membership level has remained fairly constant, but we’re always looking for ways to reach out and get new members to come and join us.  Activity wise has been extensive, and for the most part we’ve had reasonable participation, but could always do better.   The Korean Embassy and staff continues to be a main stay in support, both in transportation and in getting us involved in the activities in D C.  Our Chapter received three different invitations to recognize our service, two by Korean churches and one by Greenwood Baptist church. Our fund raising effort

under the outstanding leadership of Dick Boxwell exceeded every past year’s total. My only complaint lies with those members who signed up to serve during the fundraisers, but failed to show up.  This throws a real problem in Dick’s lap which he certainly doesn’t need, and at times has resulted in shortening the hours of operation.  It behooves each of us to follow through on our commitments to the Chapter.

On Tuesday, December 10th at 1 p m the Chapter will have its Christmas Luncheon at Perkins Restaurant.  Spouses and significant others are most welcome, the charge for the luncheon will be $10 per person with the Chapter picking up the remainder of the cost.  So mark your calendar and come and enjoy the fellowship and good food.

Notice: Official Notice of Annual Meeting & Election of Officers on Page 3.

Our Best Thanksgiving Wishes to All.
