Korean War Veterans Association

     Again this year, Chapter members and guests were graciously invited to the annual luncheon honoring all veterans and their families by the congregation of the Greenwood Baptist Church

     The event on May 13th, hosted by Pastor Carl Menefee, was very well attended including the following from our Chapter: Commander Don Netschke, Past Commanders, Bill Scott and Narce Caliva, Secretary, Paul and Shirley Bombardier, Don and Doris Jones, Dale Thompson, Jerry Lunt, Herb Taylor, and Jack Kronenberger.

     After being served a delicious lunch, the program included stirring messages and patriotic music. Each veteran rose to give a self-introduction and Rev. Sam Vance delivered a stirring tribute, recognizing the service and sacrifice of our KIA/MIA comrades, as well as veterans and all those serving on active duty.

     Pastor Menefee and his congregation and those of us attending all enjoyed the day and we all are looking forward to attending again next year.
