Chapter Annual Meeting and Luncheon December 12th.
The Chapter held its’ Annual meeting on Tuesday December 12th at the Lee-Jackson restaurant in Winchester. Included was our Annual Dinner Buffett Luncheon, election and installation of officers for the coming year 2018. Forty-one members and Thirty-eight guests participated in this event.
KWVA National Director and past Commander Narce Caliva prepares to swear in new Chapter officers for next year 2018. Installed were Commander Ray Ewing, 1st Vice-Commander David Clark, Secretary Paul Bombardier, and Treasurer Jack Kronenberger.
Commander Ray Ewing introduced guests from the Korea Embassy Defense attaché Brig. General Pyo and Lt. Colonel Lee.
Brig. General Pyo addresses the gathering with his observations and appreciation for. Chapter 313 participation in Embassy wreath laying ceremonies at the Korea War Memorial for the past year in order to welcome visiting Korean dignitaries.
The General stressed the importance of the ongoing US/Korea Alliance being strengthened to benefit future generations. Gen. Pyo was accom-panied by Mrs. Pyo and Col. Lee was accom-panied by his daughter.
