This was a hard month for the Chapter. We send sincere condolences to Commander Ray Ewing
and his family on the loss of his sister Florence Ewing Carbaugh on Jan 27, and his brother Donald Steward Ewing on Feb 6th.
Also, sincere condolences to our member Gary Fletcher and family on the loss of Gary’s wife, Neva Yates Fletcher on Feb 5th. Eighteen members of our Chapter and several wives attended this Funeral on Feb 11th to pay their respects to Neva and her family.
Lastly, to the family of our departed Past Commander Charles (Chuck) Bachman, sincere regrets on the loss of their mother, Jacqueline Ann (Jackie) Bachman who passed away on Feb 15th. Twenty Chapter members and several wives paid their respects and attended the Memorial service for “Jackie” on Feb 18th.
Neither a wise man nor a brave man lies down on the tracks of history to wait for the train of the future to run over him.
