CONDOLENCES   Jane Arnold Goff.

Chapter condolences go out to KWVA  Chapter 313 member Ray Goff and the family on Jane’s  passing.

Marion Jane “Ginny” Arnold Goff, 84, of Clear Brook, VA, died peacefully Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Winchester Medical Center surrounded by loving family and friends. She leaves behind to treasure her memory, her loving husband of 65 years, Raymond Howard Goff, Jr. (Ray); and their adored children: son, Howard L. Goff (Monty) of Winchester, VA and his fiancé, Jodi L. McBee; daughter, Robin L. Goff and beloved grandson, Tanner Crenshaw Short both of Virginia Beach, VA.  She also leaves behind sister-in-law Glynice G. Fazzi of Richmond, VA, Diane E. Cameron of Leesburg, VA, and Louise H. Arnold of Earleton, FL; brother-in-law, Lem Hughes of Roseland, VA; and all of their much loved children who were Jane’s dear nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and parents-in-law, Fannie Sue and Raymond H. Goff, Sr., Jane was preceded in death by her brother, Clarence Bryan Arnold; sister-in-law, Joyce G. Hughes; and brother-in law, Gene Goff. Jane was born in 1933 in Amherst County, VA, the daughter of the late Clarence and Marion Louise Arnold. After graduation from Phillips Business College, she was a secretary for the FBI in Washington D.C.  She married her high school sweetheart, Ray, on December 19, 1952 at Madison Heights Christian Church in Madison Heights, VA.

   She worked for Lynchburg National Bank before taking time to raise her children.  She was a member of Memorial Christian Church in Lynchburg, VA where she sang in the choir.  She worked as a Property Manager for Snyder Hunt Corporation in Roanoke, VA.  Jane was accepted as a member of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (Ft. Loudoun Chapter).  Jane was an avid golfer and a member of Carpers Valley and Rock Harbor’s Ladies Golf Associations and the VSGA.              No memorial service is scheduled.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to a charity of your choice.  Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.ompsfuneralhome.com.
