October Meeting Highlight.
Lt. Colonel David Cress, U.S. Army (Ret,) speaks to our members at our October Chapter meeting.
He recounted many interesting facts observed during the course of his Military career with the Corps of Engineers.
Our members listened intently as the story was being told. Commander Dave Clark presented David with a Chapter Challenge coin at the end of his presentation..
Clan Ewing Meets in Dunoon, Scotland.
Ewings all, L-R Kyle, Lew, John Thor, Mike & Brenda. John Thor Ewing is the Clan Ewing Commander, a title that was bestowed upon him by the government of Great Britain.
In late August, Lew Ewing, his son Mike, Mike’s wife Brenda and Lew’s grandson Kyle travelled to Dunoon, Scotland to participate in the 1st International Clan Ewing Gathering along with other Clan Ewing descendants from throughout the United States, Scotland and England.
There is much more to this story which will follow in next month’s issue.
