NOTES FROM THE CHAPLAIN
Rev. Raleigh Watson
Wayne Strother has had his heart valve surgery and reports he is doing well, breathing better and feeling better. Don Everhart is still facing
some surgery but has had some delays in scheduling. Both these comrades are out and about and intend to be at the Christmas luncheon.
Charles Hoak appreciates visitors at home, but if you go, please call Lea and arrange a convenient time. She suggests short visits – perhaps thirty minutes or so.
“Buck” Thompson remains about the same following his recent hospital-ization and return to his home. His loss of vision has not improved and is thought to be the result of a stroke. This, coupled with his dementia, makes visiting very difficult. I ask that we especially keep all these comrades in our prayers.
Some our comrades who would appreciate a call or visit are:
Millard Pippin – phone – 540-667-1876
Don Jones – phone – 540-869-1958
Leonard Laconia – 540-667-1716
Charles Hoak is always glad to have visitors, but call first to see if convenient – 540-533-1187 (Lea’s cell)
