Narce Caliva.  During the coronavirus pandemic, we all need at least one mask to wear, preferably two on hand, for a back-up or while one is being laundered.  Our Chapter has a supply of Surgical (also called Medical) Masks available for members and spouses who wish to request one. Just email or call Narce Caliva to receive them promptly by mail.  His email address is ncaliva29@gmail.com and phone is 540-545-8403.

These masks are a generous gift from the Korean American Community Association of Greater Washington (DC).  An additional gigantic supply of surgical masks has been delivered to the US from the Republic of Korea, ensuring that KWVA members and families can be equipped to meet possible forthcoming needs.   The Department of Veterans Affairs is distributing them to KWVA chapters and to VAMCs.  When needed, let’s be sure to protect ourselves by following the American Red Cross CDC suggestion to “Cover – Distance – Clean”:  wear a mask, keep our distance, and wash our hands.

We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.  Wearing our masks will help.

This rabbit says: “If you leave the house, wear your mask for your own protection, and for everyone else”.
