WELCOME NEW MEMBERS
Joseph Edward (Ed) Clevenger, Jr.
Raymond H. (Ray) Goff

We are pleased to introduce two new members who have joined our Chapter recently. We would ask each of you to please take the time to introduce yourself to them and welcome them to the Chapter.

     Ed Clevenger was born in downtown Stephens City, VA on May 30, 1928, the son of Joseph and Rachel Clevenger. Ed served in The US Air Force from 1949-52 and was stationed in Japan with the 304th Troop Carrier Squadron. Using the G I Bill, Ed obtained a degree in Engineering at the University of Virginia and accepted a job with Sperry Marine Systems in Charlottesville and later worked for Melpar Electronic Systems. He is married and is the father of two sons. Ed and his wife live in the Autumn Glen Subdivision near Stephens City. (See Ed's full bio found on page three of this issue of the Chatter.)

     Ray Goff was born on June 2, 1934 in Amherst County, VA and attended Elementary and High School in Madison Heights, VA before enlisting in the US Army in 1954. Ray attended Lynchburg College and also spent some time with the St. Louis Cardinals Minor League Baseball organization. After enlisting in the Army, Ray attended a school at Fort Monmouth, NJ and was involved with the development of our first guided missile project. Following his military career, Ray worked as an Electronic Engineer with the FAA until he retired in 1993. Ray is married with two children, living in Clearbrook.
